news that her niece, Mrs. Angus Sloan
of Spokane, died in. that city yester
day. Her sister, Mrs. Susie Deal ar
rived 'from Baker -City also, on the
morning train. Up to noon, no funeral
arrangements had been decided upon.
It Is expected that the funeral will
take place in this city. Mrs. Sloan was
born in this city and made her home
here up to within the past few years
