Fruit Shippers Start Suit.
Damages to the amount of approxi
mately $7,400 are demanded In a suit
against the O. R. & N. company which
Is being tried in the circuit court to
day, says the Pendleton E. O.
The plaintiffs are Rlggs & Martin,
fruit shippers. It Is alleged that the
damages were sustained . during the
months of October and November,
1907, by reason of the failure of the
railroad company to furnish twelve
cars when they were ordered. As a
reeult of this failure to supply the
cars fruit to the amount specified Is
alleged to have spoiled.
