At a meeting of the Oregon Board
of Medical Examiners held in Portland
on the 21st. the names were given
out of tl.e applicants for licenses who
were successful in passing the recent
examinations of the board. From Dr.
Moore who is one of the six doctors
In all : were licensed, making two- i
thirds of the entire number, who pass- j
ed. One hundred M. u s, ana iweive i
D. O's., took the examination with the f
result that fifty-eight medical doctors
in making the required average. All
doctors who go before the board take
the
same examination in anatomy.
physiology, histology, pathology,
chemistry, obstetrics and gynecology.
In addition to these subjects the
medical applicants are examined in
various branches of theory and prac
tice of their school, while the osteo
pathic applicants are examined in
practice of osteopathy.
