Rev. A. L. . Howarth, was In La
Grande this morning on his way to
Joseph from the annual conference
of the Methodist church" at ' Black
foot, Idaho. 1 , "
Rev. Howarth has" been assigned to
the Joseph church for another year.
The conference voted unanimously to
send him back to complete the $10,
000 church . building which be has
started. The people of Joseph des
