Warner-Young contest case, signed by
Judge Gllliland, says the Pendleton
E.O.
After holding that the famous my

will and testament of J. W. Young,
the court finds that the "pretended
will was made, forged and executed

W. Young, by and through the con
nivance and procurement of Mabel
Warner.
"And that S. V. Knox, one of the
pretended subscribing witnesses to
the said will and one Delia Stacey,
who pretended that she saw Young
and Louis Ragel. sign the said docu
ment, have each and all conspired to
gether with the said Mabel Warner,
to cheat and defraud the contestants
out of the property of the said J. W.
Young, deceased, by means of said
false, fraudulent and forged will and

It Is also declared In the findings
of fact that Mrs. Warner Introduced
In evidence a forged letter, purport
ing to have been written to Clara
Young by J. W. Young and also a
forged memorandum of contract.
It is further charged that while the
"first" will to the estate of James W.
Young was in possession of Mabel
Warner, her attorneys and her ex
perts, the exhibit had been "altered,
changed and tampered with."
The judge also signed the decree
this afternoon. This simply declares
that the will is forged and that it was
never executed by Young and is there
fore not entitled to probate.
