Conductor R. Wissler of this city
will be given .the new passenger run
between Huntington and Pendleton,
when the Salt Lake special goes into
effect late this month.
In fact there is now a train almost
daily which will be displaced by the
regular speedy run from Salt Lake
to Portland. It Is almost a dally af
fair to have two sections and a pas
senger crew is now held at Pendleton
for emergencies like these. As soon
as the regular is put on, Mr. Wissler
will take his dally turn at crossing
the mountains.
As the train, may only be one to meet
summer rate demands, the Wissler
family will not move to Pendleton.
