PRIVATE BAIL
Organized societies exist in the
Magenbeck-Walluce circus and every
Saturday night that the jump before
the circus is less than l.'.O miles, the
high-salaried actors and officials of
the show, rent a dance hall and en-
Joy the music of their own orchestra.
Last Saturday night from 12 to 2, the
Elks hall here was the scene of one
of these festivities. There were 40
couples present and with a Tew in
vited Elks' of this city, danced to their
hearts' content. Refreshments were
Berved to the dancers by members of
the Bociety detailed fof that purpose.
Tired out as they were from a
strenuous week, tbe music and friv
olity aided to drive dull cares away.
and thoBe from here who were luckv
enough to get bids, speak highly of
the social attainments of the actors.
