COMPANY LOOKING FOR 1IRICK TO
BULB- WITH.
At Conclusion of Pendleton And Ba
ler Depots, Then Here.
What is without a question the
best criterion pointing the way to
the time that La Grande will be han
ded that much-needed building an O.
R. & N. railroad depot Is the fact
that the O. R. & N. is looking about
for brick with which to construct It.
While no deflnte contract has been
entered into with the company, word
has been given out that as soon as
the Pendleton and Baker City depots
are finished, work will commence on
the La Grande structure. According
to the best estimates, this will bo
early in the coming year, at least
within a year from now.
