The word "La Grande," the word
that the Commercial club is working
familiar in all parts of the country,
will now greet the eyes of the pas
sengers on trains passing through this
city as they glance out of the car win
dows. A large glass sign, 26 feet in
length, with 20 electric lights on the
inside, waB put up yesterday evening
on Depot street. It Is a very com
mendable act and shows the spirit
that hte Commercial club Is working
with, to advertise La Grande. The
sign will be a permanent feature.
