Local baseball fans are endeavoring
to sell enough tickets to Elgin Sunday
to justify them In chartering a special
train. La Grande will cro bats with
the team at that place and there are
strong prospects of the fastest game
of the season as Elgin has several
new names In their line-up. La Grande
has been playing such excellent ball
recently that the fans at this place ,
begrudge every game away from home, ,
hence the excursion. There will prob-
ably be very little trouble n securing
the desired number to participate in
the excursion.
