King Edward's "official birthday"
Will be celebrated in London and at
all home stations tomorrow, elabor
ate ceremonies in which the army
and navy will participate will mark
the occasion. The king's real birth
day Is November 9. and this date
will be celebrated at all other sta
tions. Holding the "official" cele
bration In June adds gayety to the
London season and is of great as
sistance to the shopkeepers', who
need the money. The king's kindly
compliance in permitting his birth
day to be set forward several months
is the subject of much favorable com
