have you been buying Clothes where the salesmen or the
dealer puts the coat on your back, gives a hitch here or a pull
there, passes your hand over your back and shoulders and says:
''What a beautiful fit." That's one way of selling clothes and one
way of buying them, but a far better way, according to our
method of thinking, is choosing a size suited to the customer and
giving him a coat to !ip on himself, a coat that sets perfectly the
moment he puts it on, whose collar sets close to the shoulders
and seems moulded to the form, a garment that drapes and fits as
only perfectly made clothes can. Clothes hold their shape.
If you have beer, wearing clotliei thai have been pulled into shape
with aflat iron, that will lose these good points after wearing
them a brief time, Profit by experience and let value enter into
your calculations.

NOT THEBEST
Instructions and orders pertaining
to air brakes are being laid down to
every employee of the O. R. & N.,
from the division foreman down to
the newest man on the road, and It
is said thatt before the I. C. S. in
struction, car leaves La Grande, the
employes will be far more proficient
in their duties than they ever could
be without the Instructions. It is
also said that the air brake equip
ment Is bad on the mountain system
and that it will have to be brought
up to a higher standard at once.
Every day the instructors take their
students through courses and the lec
tures delivered are postively 'excel
lent. The men who are In charge of
car are polite, know their business,
but are extremely firm and when
they order things done, the Insist on
obedience. In the matter of equip
ment, improvements will be the order
of the day.
