the athletic committee last evening in
the . Commercial club. The chief
events will be In the high school
classes where entries are open to all
Btudents and amateurs In Eastern
Oregon, a fact which should make an
excellent meet in itself. In addition
to the mainstays, there will be the
usual side-splitting feats and races
galore for boys to enter in and the
fat men and the girls too.
The runners and the teams In the
hub and hub and the wet race have
not been chosen and as soon as the
hose company holds a meeting, all
these phases will be acted on.
