An organization of all of the young
people's societies of the churches of
the city has been perfected under the
name of the Young People's Christian
Union of La Grande, with the pur
pose of holding Union services and
mingling together socially. The first
meeting bf the Union will be held
Sunday evening July 11. The place
of the meeting has not been decided
upon. The executive committee of the
Union has met and appointed the
