A Trip to Lfcudon.
When you see the famous zoo pic
ture at the Scenic you will see and
learn lust as much as if you made the
trip tn person to the largest zoological
garden in the world. It Is me of the
most realistic pictures ever thrown on
a screen in La Grande. Carico and
Delmage will change tonight, wear
ing during their stunt the Directolre
gown. Magneto will also change to
night, in fact he puts on something
different every night. The house was
packed to the doors last night and
then all the people that were there
never saw the show.
1 . BARRE
Well there is to be another amateur
game of baseball, this time between
the Band Boys and the Barbers, the
game to be pulled off Sunday June
27, and from all reports It is to be one
of the fastest yet, as there is a great
deal of interest stirred up already,
over the game. The Barbers have
went so far as to arrange their line
up. The line-up of the Band Boys
will be practically the Bame as in the
game last Sunday.
Young Arlo Meyers, of high school
fame, will twirl the sphere for the
"Chin Polishers" with Siegrist, tho
veteran catcher, as his side kicker.
"Sheb" Williams will do the pitching
stunt for the "Windjammers'' while
Ralston will carry the big mitt. The
line-up of the two teams will prob
ably be as follows:
Barbers A. Meyers, p; Siegrist, c;
Matthews, lb; Christiansen, 2b; Dest
let, 3b; Jolly, as; Hagan, If; 11. Mey
ers, ct; Nllea, rL
