HAS LA GUAADE SPIRIT.
Wireless Telegraph Has Enthusiastic
Over llarae Show.
E
The Commercial club will hold their
banquet and talkfest on next Monday
night at the old fclk's hall, now the
of P. hall. The indications are
that this will be the most largely at
tended, banquet that has ever been
lven by that body. Business, good
umor and good things to eat will all
blend to make this an evening to be
enjoyed by all who attend.
William A. Seale, the wireless tele
graph man with former' headquarters
at Seattle, but who now has Umatilla
and Union counties as his field, was in
the city Saturday andattended the
horse show. lie grew so enthusiastic
over the magnificent display of horse
flesh that he handed to the Commercial
club a donation toward the expenses
of the show. The Seattle and La
Grande spirit certainly blend.
