laid .down by the railroad men for all
who go on the excursion to Wallowa
lake next Sunday. Take lots of lunch.
It is almost as important to have mors
than enough grub along as It is ti
take your best temper or your sweet
est smile. Enjoyable as last years
excursion was, the railroad boys have
spared no effort to make this eveu
better. There will be lots of shady,
grass carpeted nooks in which to
spread the lunch. Reports from the
lake say that fishing was never bet
ter, besides all the opportunities for
sport, there will be many who desire
simply an outing on the banks of 1
beautiful lake. To these last the ex
cursion offers an opportunity not to
be lightly passed over.
Our people will be taken to the head
of Wallowa lake in launches and ve
hicles furnished by the Commercial
club of Joseph, free of charge. They
have nine launches on the lake. There
Is a beautiful drive around the lake
to the picnic grounds. .
