After six months of successful work
the Blue Mountain Association will
hold Its last meeting prior to the
summer months this evening at the
home of Joe Whitby. 15011-2 Sixth
street .
During the life of the association,
its object has been threefold; social,
athletic and literary and music. From
time to time the association has met at
the respective homes of its members
and held Its weekly meetings, and
aside from the social time, was dril
led in parlementary rules, elocution
and music.
In the first of the season the asso
ciation turned its attentions to base
ball while later In the year its mem
bers devoted most of their time to
literary work and debating. Aside
from the usual outdoor rthletics they
took a course in gynaslum work and
calisthenics. . ' '

versity of Oregon this year is especi
ally interesting as La Grande has one
