Union lost a double-header game
here yesterday afternoon, the first one
by the score of 1 to 9, and the second
3 to 7. Union came here on Tuesday
to play Thursday and Friday, but Im
mediately after the first game was
started, rain Interferred and it was
postponed until Friday when a doubla
header affair was pulled off. Union
was apparently no match for the In
fant beet pullers.
Though superior for two games on
the diamond, the Enterprise lads have
another chromo coming for the wry
they entertained the Union team last
evening was pleasing to all. A large
ball was conducted n honor of the de
feated ones and good feeling ran high
through It all.

Miss Ruth Bush delivered one of
her delightful piauo solos Immsdi
ately after the curtain was lifted on
the pretty stage setting. The junior
class is deserving of credit for the
taste displayed ln the matter af dec
oration. The graduates were housed
in a bower of beauty. A 20th century
tope, "Going Some" was ably handled
by Harry Zubrlck who, In a burlesque
vein, pictured humorously and trurh
fully, as well, the tendencies of the
times. From self prepared thoupnts.

tion by Miss Marjorie1 McCall who up
held the McCall reputation 83 readers
and reciters in admirable style.
One of , the' weighty orations of the
evening came when Henry Heidenrich
delivered his oration on the theme.
Wanted, A Man." Not the man with

length on all these gems, for Miss
Redhead truely presented kernels of
truth In her oration."
"School Days" color came when
Charles Reynolds conducted the class
presentation of candidates. Each of
the graduates was given some token
reflective of his or her personal ec
centricities, and "Joey" Williamson
came back at Charles In turn at the
close of the humorous performance.
Without any attempt at speeches,
Prof. Hocken berry handed out "the
