Sunday's game here was anything,
but interesting. La Grande was loose
and failed to give Herr any support.
He allowed three hits according to
what should have been, and from
these three scattering blngles. Union
was able to chase in 11 runs. There
are several weak placeln the team,
but it seemed yesterday that one of
those oft' days, which come to any
aggregation, had struck them all, but
the little pitcher. Union was playing
strong all the time and gave La
Grande four chances to tinkle the pan.

the game with Perry here yesterday
afternoon. It was not such a terriffic
swat fest as the score would Indicate,
but a series of combinations and cir
cumstances completely demoralized
the lumbermen, and before it was over
the score stood as mentioned. Brook
