terday afternoon and put the strings
in 8000 tags. There will not be any
tags lying around loose one week
from tonight.. Everyone of them will
have been tied to somebody's dog, or
horse, or buggy, or to somebody. And
more than that, every tag represents
10 cents. That's about $800.00, if we
guess right, and if there are any per
sons In this town who are too poor,
or too old to appreciate the fun, and
are willing to buy a tag or two, or
a half dozen, then that person would
be happier if he stays indoors all day.

ty, met with an accident yesterday
which will keop him on the retired

from the roof of his house, and as 8
result the ankle bone is broken. Whilt
the accident itself is not very serious,
It was several hours before a phy
sician could reach Mr. Leffel. aud tho
ankle was in bad shape.
