OLD INDIAN CAVE DISCOVERED.
A large Indian cave has been dis
covered in the solid rock about two
miles from town. No one knows any
thing about this cave, not even some
of the oldest inhabitants of the Good
noe Hills, who have resided in the Co
lumbia valley- for more than 40 years.
Nor do the oldest Rock Creec udians
know anything about the cave. .
VV. P. Rauch volunteered to lead (he
first exploring party of 2" Cliff's cUi
zens to the wonderful cave a Jew days
ago, and since that time everybody
wants to see it. ' The cave is .1 rnile
from the railroad track. Th opening
of the cave is reached by a round
about walk up a gradual :idcent of
from one to two miles: Thi dooiway
