During the training and workouts of
late, much new and splendid material
has developed, until today, were the

If he does not run. Cove should not
figure to any great extent.
Union Is likely weak excepting in
the sprints. thy claiming to have a
winner in their black horse. Aside
from him there is no known material
of serious strength. Klgin may send
a mediocre team, while Island City
has been weakened by the loss of
Walters and some weight men. and
while in the race for some events,
will not take the meet. This leaves
La Grande as the best team on paper,
and if proanastications are not at
fault, the local team should eoiiu
home with the laurels.
