R. & N was sent to eastern Oregon about 15 days ago to secure inside in formation for the publication of a booklet of Interest to the tourists seek ing mountain retreats and summer outing places. She is also to embellish her story with pictures, and Major Lee Mooihouse of Pendleton Is to loan his art to enhancing the attractive ness of the booklet. Joblx-d "1k'" Pliy. Miss Monroe has bad one experi ence in getting "inside" Information which will not appear in the publica tion. She has really got correct Infor mation regarding the benefits of Hot Lake. Miss Monroe alighted from the train at the station near the Hot Lake sanatorium with a terrible cold and with all of the symptoms of la grippe. She was very sick when she reached the reception room and was obliged to seek her room and retire. In the morning the house physician was called Into service and Mis Mon roe got inside Information and for five days sh was- under the care of doc tors and nui-sts. She says that the place Is certainly a wonderful health resort tho year round. In Pendleton slje secured Information regarding Wenaha and Lehman Springs. Miss Monroe left this morning for the west.
