general election will be held In the
city of La Grande, Oregon, and that
the polls will be open from the hour
of 9 o'clock a. m., until the hour of
7 o'clock p. m., of said day.
That said election is for the purpose
of electing the following nivmed offi
cers, to-wlt:
Mayor, Recorder, Chief of Police,
Treasurer, and 'one Councilman from
each ward.
