FOR THS WEEK ONLY
Sale
And vou have waited for it because you know such values and qualities as the
the quality store gives are unknown anywhere else. S6me stoies advertise goods,
under flaring headlines, at the same prices that prevail at their counters at all times,
aud these prices are not low; others exploit goods at seemingly low prices, but-exam-ine
the qualities-examine the workmanship and you will find that the prices asked
are perhaps more than the goods are worth. We have cut the prices on every white
artida in the house such as our new spring waists, embroideries, lawns and under-
muslins which we have just unpacked and will be on display all this week and
coupled with the very low prices give a new lustre to our value giving for this week-

held In La Grande tomorrow. Super
intendent Churchill, representing the
high school faculty, and George Jett

One of the first things to be asked
will be the adoption of the four-year
rule, preventing any student from rep
resenting his ' school In a . contest
Wherein he has been previously for
four years entered.
An age limit of 21 years will also
be asked, barring any student that has
passed that birthday -from represent

In order to Insure the playing of
only bona fide students the local dele
gation will ask that, no student that
enters school after the third week of
the first term be eligible In athletic

allowed to enter athletic events unless

The post-graduates will also be
SarrcJ unu.r n rule nuumiuru by ihe
local delegation, and a rule will be
asked barring any coach or trainer
from participation in any contest as
an official.
Probably one of the most Import
ant things to come up before the con
ference will be the selection of the
board of arbitration before which all
protests of allege ineligibility or re
garding officials' rulings will be
brought.
