BISHOP O'RIELLY VISITS
WITH UMATILLA IMS
Pendleton, Ft 25. The East Ore

the annals of St. Andrew's school
when thol Rt. Ruv. 1 Bishop C. 'j.

Within a mile of the old mission
church the carriage of the bishop was
escorted by many Indians on horse

the bishop and the Rev. Father Neato.
S. J., superior of the mission, alighted
from the cvarrlage. Midst the ringing
of the old mission bell and the music
of the school band the bishop was
greeted by the venerable bid mission

Father Cataldo, S. J., who with cru
cifix aloft, headed a long procession
of the Indians of the reservation.
The reverend bishop vested In his
pontifical robes and crosier In hand,
and escorted by the Rev. Fathers Ca

Charles Playle, the Allcel wheat
buyer, was In the city today, stating
that first-class bluestem would com

make no difference if the price was

the valley to be had at -any price.
One thing, Mr. Playle stated, that by
clearing up the present old stocks
everywhere, the new crop would stand
a better chance of starting off at a
good price than for the past few
years.
