I BT GRAND JURY fEB. 15 The federal grand jury for the spring term of the United States dis trict court will begin its grind Febru ary 15, says the Portland Journal. Forty-one names of veniremen from which n grand Jury Is to be selected, were drawn before Judge Wolverton this morning. The veniremen will be ordered to report for duty at 2 o'clock on the afternoon of February 15. Among the cases to be considered Is that oi liie uuvciiiiiiont ssa!r.?'t wn llam Hanley. the cattle king of the Pacific coast, and various others, charged with having illegally fenced thousands of acres of land belonging to the United States. Two Thousand Illar Fire Ix ! ' Athena. Athena, Feb. 3. A warehouse be longing to the Pacific Coast Co.. was burned at Athena yesterday, having been started presumably from a spark from the O. R. & N. passenger train which passed by a few minutes before. The spark caught In the roof and was fiinned Into a flame by the raging Hind which blew over the country, which soon destroyed the entire building. There was no wheat In the ware house at the time, the building and h wagon which was stored there, bring the total loss. The total uaniage amounted to about $1300. R.
