Gus Burns, a former resident of La
Grande, was Injured Saturday at Sum
mervllle. He was riding up a chute on some
lee which he was putting up, when the
cake of ice on 'which he was standing
became loosened, throwing him, to the
ground, a distance of 12 feet. The lee
fell on him as he struck the ground.
Mr. Burns was injured in the hip
and considerably bruised, but will
probably be over it within a week.
