Ladd Canyon, Jan. 13. (Special.)
Although It has been bitterly cold here
and the snow deep, there has been no
wind for over a week until today. The
snow is rapidly 'piling Into drifts. The
thermometer stood 13 degrees below
at Hot Lake last Saturday night
Never before have the young people
of Ladd Canyon had a sleigh ride so
much enjoyed as the one which they
had Sunday night. "The sleigh was so
crowded that there was not "room for
one more," as 15 occupied it. After
riding over the country several hyurs
they made a Btop at Hot Lake, return
ing home at 12 o'clock. Each re-
turned home reporting having had a
most excellent time and feeling thank
ful that they escaped without even
having a "dump over," but feeling so
sorry for the horses that they wished
that they had gotten out and pushed.
Those who went were: William Win
