The letter was written on Tuesday and
it closes thus: "I feel that I have to

Last evvnlng showed a marked In
crease in attendance upon the special
metitlnss in Central Church. :' The
meeting has gone along under difficul
ties, owing to the weather, and the
absence of Mr. King, who expected to
do much' toward Introducing the evan
gelistic team. Now, however, the
storm has abated and the minister has
returned, nlfrrls and wife ure' worthy
of a good hearing and will get It un
der normal commons. The work Is of
such a' nature that members of the
various churches may all derive ben
efit from attending. The sermons are
free from, abuse. There ae lacking
the sensational schemes for , getting
mere numbers. Still tinder Mr. Hurrlu'
work, many have become Christians.
Central church has had several fine
meetings and with the help secured
for this campaign , and the earnest
work of faithful members, there la no
doubt but that this meeting will re
sult In mych good. ,
