tion met last evening to consider this

meeting was good and while the gen
eral feeling ' prevalent favored a

some little opposition to It. The pri
mary adverse opinion spoken was
based on the fact that such an early
hour might Inconvenience the farmers

matter rested with the appointment of
the committee to call on each mer
chant. This will be done within the
present week.
