life of his son, who was standing near.
He was prevented from this deed by
the mother, who seized the child and
rushed him out of harm's way. Mrs.
Qrady. paralyzed with fear, hurried
to a neighbor with the terrible tale,
and returning to his assistance, found
.ilm where he had fallen across a
chair, bleeding profusely. He was
raised and carried to a lounge nearby.
