"The Devil's Volcano," with marvel
ous electric effects; "The Realms of
Meohlsto." introducing at the finale
of this scene a most original and novel

Tribune says that Asa Thomson ar
rived In the city last evening from
Echo, to attend the meeting of the
sheepmen of Umatilla county. He
stated he had been served with a sub

in an old land case. Among the de-ii-micints
is Jefferson W. Scriber. The
(ult is to cancel patents to lands in
Morrow' and Umatilla counties. It
has been charged that Scriber forged
Thomson's name to a $6000 note. The
