'' The Scenic,
' Plenty of fun and foolishness at the
Pcenie this week. The new vaudeville
people ure certainly llvt ones. The
lady who doa the Highland fling sure
understands her business. Her stutter
song pleased the home, but her danc
ing could truly make the sons on
Thlstlelimd set up and say, "Hoot,
mon!" The Dutch and Irish team
have the monopoly of the laugh Indus
try and keep the audience work'lng
overtime. The pictures are all gooj.
I The feature bill Is the "Queen of the
I Arena." This Is a strong bill. In this
number one cap go to the elrci's and
I see a death-dealing accident and wit
ness a marriage and attend a funeral.
There are several comic numbers and
plenty of thiillera.

ever before. ' .
Tho Pastime.
" The pictures at the Tastlmo this
week arc Just such pictures every .one
really likes. There are some that are
comic, some that are otherwise and
some that make your hair stand on
end. They are all rlaan and enter
taining. . Manager Eccles has given
his film house" strict orders to send
nothing but the best and to eliminate
from his order all that could in any
way be construed as tainted or even
suggestive.' The Illustrated songs are
new and sprightly, Mr. Eccles calls
attention to the fact that his show Is
ooen every day In the week with the
of Sundays. Business last
It evening was good, notwithstanding the
fact that tne weatner was rainer cooi.
