Thev Pastime..
Though there was only a medium
sized crowd out to see the new change
at the Pastime last evening, Is only to
say that there were a great many
who missed the best program put on
for some time. ' The picture, "A Dusl
Life," is one of the best of Its kind ever
put on a curtain. This subject was
taken from life, and Is one that points
a strong moral and cannot fall to ap
peal to every honest man and woman.
A Ragged Hero Is a real drama, Vith
a hero. This picture surrounds the
beautiful -daughter of a millionaire,
who has befriended a poor little wolf
In time of need and who In his turn
has a chance to prove" his gratitude.
The villain plays a prominent part, but
:. -t last outwitted. The Football
.nd recounts the adventures of an
enthusiastic football rooter Iri-hls ef
forts to see a big game of football viv
idly slvon' in a whirlwind of con:.!:
situations. Don't fall to see this pro
gram tonight. Remember, all next
iveek the famous quartet at the Pastime.

There is evidence of boost for the
park fund from every corner. Next
Friday night the second game of the
high school basketball series will be
given with the understanding that half
the proceeds go to the park. Abcve
that, the managers of the skating rink
are r'ng to donate half the skating
receipts after the game, for the same
purpose. If the same class of basket
ball is put up next Friday night that
was seen last evening, the public will
help a geod cause along, and In turn
receive some value for their liberality.
