Passenger train No. C was delayed
In La Grande a half hour this morn
ing on account of a slight wreck in
the yards. Engine 381, pulling In a
freight train, had Just entered the east

Thursday, the 7th day of January,
1909, at his office in La Grande, Ore
gon, sealed bids for the purchase of
the following described real estate, to-wit:
Commencing at a point 521 M feet
south of the NE corner of the SW

417 feet west, west 208 feet, thence
