tally destroyed the magnificent Scenic
Hot Springs hotel, on the Great
Northern road, In the Cascade mountains.-
W. W'hltsett, of Anacortes, a
euest. Jumped from a two-story win
dow, sustaining a dislocated shoult
der. Manager Prosser was slightly
burned while trying to save valuables.
The origin of the fire Is a mystery.
The hotel cost $50,000.
