Manager Ganllnier has made a ten
strike for this week in securing the
great feature film, Jerusale?n. , This
is an entirely new film and Is said to
be even superior from a historical as
well as spectacular consideration, to
the world-famous Passion Play, This
beautiful production of Biblical his
tory nilU be presented. Wednesday and
Thursday, oth afternoon od. evolng.
This is without doubt the strongest
motion picture feature ever shown in
this city. All the leading Bible char
acters of the time of Christ will be
shown true to their hlstoricul concep
tion. To attempt o describe the film
with all its various coloring and the
numerous settings and the story which
It tells, would be to attempt the Impos
sible. It Is sufficient to say that It
deals with the life of Christ and the
trials and troubles that were heaped
unon Him by those who failed to see
In Him the Son of God. A speelul lec
ture has been, provided for this set ol
1 those who attend the
yeonic foil! find that they have not
only seen a most beautiful set of pic
tures, but they have also learned much
sacred history In a way which will be
both entertaining and beneficial. Re
member, this wonderful production
can be seen at the Scenic? both after

' - The Pastime.
The pictures at the ...Pastime- ..last
evening were better than uwinl. In
fact, for some reason, they were
brighter arid more steady than patrons
of. the Pastime have had the pleasure
cf looking upon for some time. The
selections were good. There was sora-
good comedy and there were several
hrlllpr! which were fast enough to
keep the spectators' blood moving. Mr
Ferrln adn Mr. Hiatt rendered good se
lections and J. Laurance White did a
turn or two which made them ail sit
up and take notice. This evening
there will be a surprise in store for
the public and Mr. Hiatt and Mr.
AVhite will have something to do with
It: : You never had so much entertain
ment In your'llfe aa the Pastime offers
for a dime.
' ' Tho Lyric. - ' '.' '
"The Man from Mexico" leads the
list this week at the Lyric. He is bet
ter man, as Mr. Hoyt who, with his
wife,, has so many stunts that he could
work a year at one houBe and then
not show all he has to offer. .The pic
tures last evening were good and ena
bled many to see Shakespeare's great
comedy, Taming of the Shrew, who
would never have been able to do so
If they had been compelled to attend
the more expensive attractions. There
were other good pictures, but this one
was the feature number. The bill, In
cluding the magic by the Man from
Mexico will be on the boards this eve
ning.. As a matter of fact, his work is
far better than the average and Is sure
