and the Tuesday Musical clubs receiv
ed a check this morning lor $65 from
the Odd Fellows' lodge of this city,
to apply on the cost of entertainment
wbich they incurred at the time the
State Federation convention met in
this city. This $63 Is the amount
which the Odd Fellows had left alter

ago, and as this money had been con
tributed by the citizens of La Grande,
the lodge felt that it wouid bo only
right .and proper, now that the oppor
tunity wns presented, to assist the la
dles In a similar work and show their
appreciation by passing .the money
