The books of the "Eilers 600 Piano
lub" were opened to the public Mon-"
day morning, same being announced In
last Sunday papers, and from the
way' applicants for membership have
been coming In It wilt take only a short
time to fill the club, especially as all
the principal Eilers stpres will be pro
portioned their share of the pianos. v
" The club room, was crowded yester
da ythe greater part of the day mu
sicians and teachers were Interested
parents Who were In need of an In
strument for the home were anxloun
to see the club pianos, and In each and
every case the piano was pronounced
an Instrument worthy of everything we
have claimed for It and even more.
Fifteen applications came yesterday
four orders from the country were
received, and nearly a score requests
for the booklet were sent In.
The booklet explains fully this great
co-operative plan, with all Its ad vin
tages to club members. (The book'.i t
are In press will be mailed this
week).
Invariably Secures Decision.
When the test for genuine good
ness and piano value Is made ty an
unbiased and competent person the
decision is Invariably given to the Jfew
Scale $425 Eilers a piano that cannot
be equalled elsewhere for much less
than double the club price of $292.
To Bum It all up, we have waited
planned and experimented, sparing no
expense for years to bring out this
piano to excel all other $425 pianos,
and we are safe now In saying tKat
we have succeeded.
Careful Planning and Progress.
Nearly five years ago, in a real es
tate news Item to be exact, on Janu
ary 24, 1304 The Oregonlan said:
. "The southeast quarter block at
Thirteenth and Northrun streets. hn
been bought by Eilers Piano house.
On this property a three-story brick
building will be erected. A large,
three-story frame structure now on
the ground vlli be moved over to the
Uorthrup side of the lot and devoted
to factory purposes. Experimental
work toward building pianos has been
cirrled on by this firm the present
warehouse at 13th and Marshall streets
and the new factory will be complete
ly equipped for the manufacture of
the "Eilers Piano.' "
, Thus the Eilers piano has developed
Into an Instrument that we can point
to with personal pride and say to any
one and especially the most critical
nrjsIHan there It Is, our greatest ef
fort o give more than a dollar's value
for every dollar Invested. Criticize It,
examine It carefully, give Its action
the most severe test. Judge Its pure,
singing-tone quality In fact, flint one
weak point. This criticism we ask of
all.
We have in the New Scale $425 Eil
ers Club plnnn an Instrument that Is
