The City of La Grande does Ordain as
Follows:
Section 1. That section .'of ordi
nance No, 42, series 1892, be and the
same is hereby amended so as to read
as follows: ' -
Section 6. It shall be unlawful for
any person to deposit any asnes in
any wooden vessel or on any wooden
floor in the city, or deposit them in
any place in their, or others' premises
that will be nearer than ten feet to
any wooden work, or to burn any pa
per, straw, tree cuttings, or other
trash or rubbish in any street or al-
py, except by permission of the chief
of the fire department.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be
published In one Issue of the La
rande EYer.5r.ff Observer, and shall
