Harry Moulton Is busy with J. H,
Mlmnaugh's residence in the south
west part of town, says the Wallowa
Sun. It will be a nine-room, story and
a half home, and Vtll be "tilted with
plate glass windows and doors, and
be finished In polished tamarack. It
will be one of the finest moderate
priced residences In the city. ' Mr.
Moulton designed the building and
will erect It and one similar for C. H.
Mimnaugh, the latter being designed
by C. R, Thornton, the La Grande
architect.'
Work on the WaJlowa depot was
begun last Friday and has been ruBh
ed rapidly forward during tho past
week. Fisher & Petrle of Portland,
have the contract, according to the
Wallowa Sun. ,
.The structure will be two stories
high and will be 24x30 in size, while
the platform will be of equal slr.e: It
will contain commodious , rooms for
the transaction of all railroad business.
, - The contractors expect to have the
roof on next week and fitate that the
structure will be completed by another
crew, all work being completed before
Thanksgiving time. The same con
tractors have the contract for the de
pots at Enterprise' and Joseph. The
railroad company has agreed to have
the material ready for them at En
terprise by the middle of next month,
at which time the depot at that place
will be begun.

DELAY BANQUET. .
Enterprise Commercial Club Will Hold
Its Feast Later On.
Owing, to delay in completion of the
railroad to Enterprise, the banquet
planned for November 2 has been in
definitely postponed. A letter from
the Enterprise Commercial club states
that due announcement will be made
of the affair, which has not :been
dropped, but postponed to conform
with exulting conditions.
