A meeting of all b(ii(Ines men of the
city Is called for next Monday night at
the Commercial club when an organi
zation will be perfected that will be
similar to those so .successful in other
cities; ' .. '
The purpose of the club or associa
tion, will be primarily to protect bus
lneas Interests from V professional bill
Jumpers. The proposition has worked
out well In other citli;s and local bus
iness men believe the! same thing will
prove true here. A any rate, all bus
iness men should be at the meeting
Monday when the t5lans will be ad
vanced In all Us phases. There will
be a color of sociability in the club,
for all work and no play makes Jack
a dull boy. It Is not to be In the na
tdre of a boost club, it Is thought, but
one based on busIneHs principles of a
home color, alone. V '
Not a few of the returning delegates
from Idaho who Went through exhibit
hall this morning, ' expressed them
selves to the effect that our apple ex
hibit at the Idepot surpassed that at
the Boise fair. .We knew this all the
time, but it would have been difficult
to have made these same delegates
believe It unless this opportunity had
been given them to have seen It for
themselves.
