Cnmpauarl's Wonderful Gift,
Of the four eminent singers who are
to be heard in concert in this city Oc

most gifted by nature. He never re

debut at, the age of 19 In the La Scala
opera house In Milan. His life since
then has been filed with brilliant suc
cesses. The Chicago Dally News re
cently said of his work In "PagllaccI":
"Slgnor Campanarl as Tonlo gave
an impersonation that was" Intensely
vital in every dramatic and musical
detail, from the prologue, before the

In the keen Joy of satisfied vengeance."
Of the same performance the Chi
cago Evening oPst said: ,
"The Tonlo of Slgnor Campanarl
was the finest exemplification of art
that the opera has put forward. The
singer's exposition of the character
was perfect, even to the smallest de
tails of its expression, and It Is the
small things which go to make the'
sum of artistic perfection."
.'Campanarl and his fellow artists
