BEDS
The prollflcness of asters In the city

the aster show during the coming sea
son will be attended by a gorgeous
street parade or not. The general ar
rangements committee, consisting of
Mesdames E. E. Bragg, A. L. Rlchard
son, Albert, Hunter and E. Polack,
will render a decision on the strength
of a canvass made throughout the
city.
In this tour of Inspection the com
mittee will decide on t,he quantity of
'asters that exist and Incidentally
learn to what stage of development
the flowers have reached, thereby to
set a date for the show. The uncer
tainties of the weather have delayed
the Inspection, but after the commit
tee has visited the principal aster beds
It will be In a position, to act definite
ly on the street parade question. If

throw these rumors to the wind, giv
