Bryan will be formally notified of his
presidential nomination tomorrow and
Lincoln is already tilling up with vis
itors In advance of ahe momentous
event , All roads lead to Falrvlew to
day, where the great Nebraakan Is
awaiting in all patience the breaking

democratic leaders are already here
and Mr. Bryan held numerous confer
ences today. ' Despite the fact that he
Is perhaps the busiest man " In the
country, however, he finds time to
greet the Nebraska admirers, many of
whom are farmers who have come
with their families to Lincoln to take
part in the general Jubilation anil to
see the man whom they confidently
greet as "the next president." .
While Lincoln, as a normally repub
lican city, has not always supported
Mr. Bryan In his presidential asplra
tlons, the people universally admire
him as a man and are proud of him as
a citizen. This pride Is today evidenc
ed In the decorations, the floss, ban
ners and Ifrynn pictures, which line
the streets. Republicans have joined
with democrats in thus honoring Mr.
Bryan and there are few business
houses and residences which do not
bear some evidence of the admiration
which the occupants entertain for Lin
coin's most famous citizen.

for properly entertaining tho throngs
which will be here tomorrow to hear
the commoner's speech of acceptance
The notification ceremonies will take
place at Mr. Bryan's suburban home,
Falrvlew, and the stage setting of the
great event will be of a distinctively
rural character.
The newspaper men who have fore.
gathered at Falrvlow from all over
the land have found quarters In a Iage
tent erected on the grounds, espec'al-
ly for their convenience. The nes

Mr. Rose was the Associated Press
correspondent assigned to cover Mr.
Bryan's first campaign. After that
battle he became secretary to the pub.

work. Mr. Rose himself occupies

the Bryan residence, where he sleeps

Mr. Bryan s speech of acceptance

that of Judge Taft. He will reaffirm
all the policies adopted at the Denver

This Is an exclusively young ladles
camp, and that they nro nblo to main

sterner sex has been demonstrated
many times. At the call of "Boots and
saddles" the young ludles left camp
this morning, and In a very short tlmo
were seen emerging ,frm a cloud of
dust near their respective homes. To
spesk of their enmp raiment would
bo ungnllsnt, as a better type of the
true Western girl Is not easily found.
The young ludlos composing the party
are the Misses Both and Imogen Rus
sell, their guests. Misses Enid Hmlttnn
and Mela Gordon, and the Misses
Stella Oliver, Nejt Orlmmett and Jean
McDonald. They expect to return to
