itentiary for Larceny Has Prac-
' Uoed a Solicitation for an Incapable
Woman on First Street.
Oft before in the tolls of the law for
various .misdeeds, and for the past
several months at liberty about the
city with a two years' penitentiary
sentence over his head, Willie Wilkle,
a noted character of this city who has
yet to reach matured growth, is on
the way to the penitentiary.
.This time the causa fo arrest and
reason for revocation of the ' parole,
was serious, though it called for a
mere fine In the city police court

arraigned before Recorder Cox on a
charge of soliciting for a bawdy house
on First street. The night officer
maintain that'Wllkle'i haa made a
practice of leading men to his haunt
on First atreet, where an Incapable
woman was the victim of Wllkle's fi
nancial acheme. When caught, Wil
kle was In the First street house In
company with the' woman In question
and another man,' presumably one
Wilkle had ensnared to the place.
With tear streaming down his face
the cripple admitted his guilt before
the court this afternoon and was flried

The action of Wilkle In breaking his
parole, caused District Attorney Ivan
hoe to file a prayer with the circuit
court 'that the parole be revoked.
Parole Revoked.
Shortly after 3 o'clock Wilkle was
arraigned before Circuit . Judge
Knowles. Arguments of the district
attorney were heard and at 4 o'clock
this afternoon the court revoked the
parole and Wilkle will bo sent to Sa
lem at a near date. The charge on
which he will serve two year's Is lar
ceny from a store, committed in this
city last September. In. addition he
has an Information pending against
him for assault and battery. '

Ever 'since Wilkle was arrested he
has shed tears of repentance. It may
be these tear were of a repentant na
ture and It may be thatthe prisoner
was playing, to the galleries. In any
event, his life for the' next two years
will be spent in seclusion at Salem.
Grace Love May Slurry Again,
Chicago, Aug. S. Is Mrs. Grace
Snell-Coffln-Walker-Coffln-Coff!n-Ly-man-Coffln-Love
again to become Mrs.
Coffin, for the fifth time? Friends of
the much-divorced woman are confi
dent that such la the case. Mrs. Grace
Snell et cetera recently secured a di
vorce from her last husband, Hugh M.
Love, and it. is reported on good au
thority that Frank Nixon Coffin, un
daunted by former matrimonial Infe
licities, is now paying ardent court to
the beautiful grass widow.
Grace Snell's last appearance In the
divorce court was In Loa Angules,
where she appeared against Hugh M.
Love, once a newspaper man hut now
an attache of the health offflce In the
City of Angels. Terrible charges were
made against the former scribe, among
them that he wore pink pajamas In
the drawing room when hi wife was
entertaining friends; that he smoked
a strong pipe In the parlor and ex
pectorated Into the fire, and slmilur
brutal cruelties.
Grace Snell Is the daughter of Amos
J. Snell of Chicago, whose murder
yens ago has remained a great mys
tery., CI race, who Inherited much
wealth on the death of her father,
was first married in 18SS to Frank
Nixon Coffin. They lived together
for nine years and Mrs. Coffin then
got a divorce on the ground of Incom
patibility. . She then married James C.
Walker, a Chicago hotel clerk. She
got a divorce two year later for cru
elty. She remarried Coffin and got
a aecond divorce, alleging intoxication.
In l0l, upon the death of their son.
the couple was again reconciled and
married again. She left him the same
day and the next day sued for a di
vorce on the ground of non-support.
Coffin making no protest.
Mrs. Coffin then married Perkln A.
Lyman, divorced him and again mar
rled Coffin, that making four mar
riage with her first husband. She
soon tired of him, however, divorced
him again and married Love.
