Mr. and Mrs. Marlon Davis Now in
. Canada Kn Route to Toledo.
Mr. and Mrs. Marion Davis of Union,
who left that city about three week
ago to attend the grand lodge of the
Knights of Pythias at Portland. are
no wenjoylng the beautiful scenery of
the Belkirks and Rockies, and other
points of Interest In Canada. Mrs.
Davis is known to all Oregon as Mrs.
Cora M. Davis. In writing to her
friend, Mrs. Ellen Cross from Winni
peg, she says: "We are in a land
where we do not salute every flag we.
and there's nary a star nor stripe."
.After leaving Portland their next
stopping place was near Seattle, at
the Soldiers' home, where a pleasant
surprise awaited them, as the post
