Ashe Houston, who was signed to
play with Pendleton early In the sea
son and was then allowed to go over
to La Grande, has been signed to play
with Oakland In the Coast league and
went south with Vanhaltrcn's play

the Henneman cigar store. Houston
was given a tryout with the Oakland

and made good in every department of
